There's a new monthly newspaper for Dutch Hop enthusiasts everywhere . . . . “The Dutch Hop Heritage News.”
Randy Eckhart and Terry Batt have purchased the former Dutch Hop News, and have expanded the paper to include not only dance schedules, but much, much more.
The new paper will focus on our Dutch Hop heritage, but will also include stories on individuals. Each month, we will feature a story on a Dutch Hop musician (either current or retired), an article on a Dutch Hop band, and stories on our Volga German heritage, anecdotes, folklore, history, and yes – even those hard to find recipes our grandmas cooked!
We are very excited about this and hope you will be, too. We are doing this as an effort to further our Dutch Hop music, promote our musical traditions, and keep our heritage alive. We look forward to using this as a tool to not only re-live old memories, but as an educational tool for our younger generations to get involved and stay active in our traditions - specifically Dutch Hop Music!
